Nutritional Assessment

A Nutritional Assessment is for anyone who would like to improve their health and overall well-being by implementing a healthier diet and outlook on food according to specific needs and goals.

How is a Nutritional Assessment done?

At the outset of your Nutritional Assessment, you will be asked to give written information, this will be in the form of a questionnaire.  You may also be asked a series of questions so that I can understand your personal and lifestyle goals which will best help you recognize unhealthy behaviours.

What are the benefits?

Results from a Nutritional Assessment rely heavily on your commitment to follow the plan designed by me.  Healthier changes in your diet and lifestyle often result in improved health, wellness, and appearance in relation to the level and duration of changes being implemented.

With Nutrition there is no one-size-fits all fix. I am a firm believer in “Back-To-Basics” nutrition, I like simplicity. I look at all the foods available in our world today and there is so much good healthy food to choose from, foods from every walk of life. I have my favourites and I choose the foods that I know will improve my health and hopefully will keep me fit and well for many years to come.

This assessment will be tailored to you and your needs, it will be based on what you eat, what you don’t eat, what supplements you take or should be taking, how you feel and if there are any menopause symptoms you need help with. It is really a way of checking to see if you are on the right track.

There are 34 symptoms of menopause and so it is a very personal journey for each of us. I often tell my clients that all the supplements and products in the world will not make a huge difference unless you follow a well-balanced diet and take part in regular exercise. It is about getting the balance right. This is the foundation of good health and therefore an easier transition through menopause.

We are all looking for natural ways to reduce the symptoms of menopause and with some dietary changes and other lifestyle changes, menopause becomes much more manageable. Menopause is a natural part of life but accepting the changes and discovering you are not alone is a good place to start.
